Needed: transit service between the cities of Oxnard and Ventura along thoroughfares where service is currently NON-EXISTENT -- Harbor Blvd and Victoria Avenue. (With the exception of limited times and on small segments of Victoria, for all practical purposes, these two MAJOR thoroughfares are devoid of transit service.) Needed: more bus service for west Oxnard/Port Hueneme, generally, including Silver Strand, Channel Islands Harbor and other beach communities. This area is on the verge of tremendous growth but has only limited transit service -- and is WITHOUT SERVICE on Sundays! Suggestion: regular, scheduled transit service on Channel Islands Blvd west of Ventura Road, perhaps in conjunction with regular service on Harbor Blvd to the city of Ventura. Suggestion: regular bus service on Victoria Avenue between Silver Strand and the city of Ventura.
